*Starts another blog post by jokingly roasting myself*
I am the absolute worst at keeping up with upcoming releases… Every year, I spend hours scrolling through any possible list on the internet of releases for the upcoming year. I add them to my TBR, a hopeful smile lingering on my lips. Then, I immediately forget about all of them.
Of course, like everything else, there are very specific circumstances where I will remember them. Those circumstances are as follows: I have an arc of the book, the author has a preorder incentive that I just can’t turn down, or it’s part of a series and I am counting down the days until I can finally find out what happens next.
Just like with my inability to set goals, I’m leaving forgetting about upcoming releases in 2023. It’s not serving me. Instead of tracking releases each month, I’m planning on a quarterly tracking schedule. I figure it’ll make things just a bit easier to manage.
There’s a variety of books below. Romance, fantasy, and even a thriller (shocking I know, but I will read anything Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé writes). Some are part of a series, some are from others I love, some I have ARCs of, and some are debuts from authors I want to throw my support behind.

Now, this isn’t an exhaustive list. There are plenty of indie releases that have yet to be announced that I will inevitably be excited about. Nevertheless, these are the books I’m most excited about! Hopefully, I will get to read as many of these as I possibly can.
